FBI Blog29066-86 On Thursday, 08/21/1986, Flint Police officers were flagged down by family members to check 3416 Forest Hill for a lady down. Upon arrival they located the bodies of 22 year old Venita Wilson and her 4 year old son, Jamarr Wilson, beaten and stabbed to death.

33882-71 On 12/23/1971, at 9:24 p.m., Flint Police were dispatched to the 7-11 at Western and Layton for a robbery and shooting. Upon arrival they found the night manager, Patrick West, behind the counter with a shotgun wound to the abdomen. Witnesses described two male black subjects who fled in a dark blue fast back style vehicle parked east of the store. West died three months later of complications from his injuries.

32562-91 On Wednesday, 0911/1991, Flint Police were contacted to check the welfare of the homeowner at 1925 Lynch. Upon arrival they located the body of 65 year old Dorothy Holden bound and beaten to death in her basement.

23411-01 On Sunday, 09/23/2001, Flint Police were dispatched to an abandoned house at 910 W. 8th Ave for the discovery of a body. Upon arrival the spoke with children who were playing in an over grown area of the back yard where they found human remains, which were later identified as Monique Hemphill. Hemphill had been reported missing since 02/25/98.

12395-99: On Wednesday, 05/12/1999, at 2:27 a.m. the Flint Police were dispatched to 1814 Jane to assist the Flint Fire Department with a structure fire. While battling the blaze firefighters located David Compeau and David Vincent inside. Both had been bludgeoned and died from their injuries.

On Friday, 05/01/92, at 10:40 a.m. Flint Police officers were dispatched to 514 E. Dewey for a possible shooting. Upon arrival they found the back door standing open. Inside they located the bodies of James and Laverne Crayton.

On 07/15/1996 Carol Kenning wandered into Best Cab, at 1913 N. Saginaw Street, badly beaten. Kenning stated she had been raped and beaten the night before on Lewis St. Kenning died two weeks later as a result of internal injuries.
